Thank you for shopping with rarecactus.com. These terms apply to every purchase made through our store. By placing an order you agree to the terms set out below.
Every specimen is one of a kind
Each plant we offer is a single, individual specimen. The photographs on the product page show the exact plant you will receive. Because no two are alike, once a plant is sold it is gone for good.
All sales are final
All sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges on live plants. Please review the photographs and the description carefully before completing your order.
If something is wrong, reach out within 48 hours
Your happiness matters to us. If your plant arrives damaged, or if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it. Send your order number along with a few clear photos of the plant and the packaging so we can understand what happened and do our best to make it right.
Shipping
We ship within the United States for a flat rate of $15 per order. Every plant is packed by hand and orders typically ship within 1 to 3 business days, with 2 to 5 business days in transit. We cannot be responsible for delays caused by the carrier, severe weather, or incorrect shipping details entered at checkout.
Settling in your new plant
Rare cacti are slow growing and sensitive to sudden change. A little travel stress, such as a thirsty appearance or minor cosmetic marks, is normal and is not considered damage. Give your plant a bright, warm spot and a few days to acclimate before watering.
Pricing and availability
Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice. Because each specimen is unique, availability is never guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
Privacy and data
We want you to understand how information is handled when you shop with us. Our store, our analytics, and the services we rely on may place and read cookies, or use web beacons and similar technologies, in your browser to operate the site, measure performance, and process your order. You can manage or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings, though some parts of the store may not work as expected if you do.
We take part in the Google Customer Reviews program. When you place an order you may see an option to receive a short survey from Google after your estimated delivery date. If you choose to take part, Google may receive information about your transaction, such as your order details and email address, so that it can send the survey and gather your feedback. Taking part is entirely your choice, and Google handles any information it receives in line with its own privacy policy.
