Ariocarpus Godzilla

Ariocarpus fissuratus ‘Godzilla’ is a cultivar selected for tubercles far more deeply furrowed and warted than the wild species, so a mature plant reads as cracked stone rather than a flat rosette. At rarecactus.com every Godzilla we offer is a seed grown specimen raised in our own greenhouse, photographed individually, and sold as the exact plant in the pictures. Variegated forms carry cream and yellow sectors across the tubercles and are listed here alongside the green form. Sold specimens stay on this page so you can see what has passed through the collection; new plants are added as they reach size. For the wild species, its habitat and its care, see the Ariocarpus fissuratus encyclopedia entry.
